This morning we are going to glimpse the brilliance of Jesus on display. He so brilliantly handles a conflict at the Feast of Booths that it causes many who witness it to come to the conclusion that he is the Messiah.

As we follow the story of our Lord there is definitely a sense of urgency in the passage before us. It is fall, 29AD, three years into Jesus’ public ministry. Jesus must leave the safety of Galilee for the dangers of Jerusalem in order to observe the Feast of Booths. Jewish leadership want to kill Him (Jn. 7:30)....
